Birthdays are a good time to reflect on one’s 365 days journey on earth, celebrate the wins and launch out for the envisaged year.
A time when family commemorate the anniversary of the day one came to the world. It is usually filled with good wishes, kind prayers and presentation of gifts to the celebrant amidst merrymaking, light jokes, laughter that revibrates all around and sheer joy on the faces of everyone around.
It is in the light of this that family, friends and well wishers gathered to celebrate with the delectable Rosemary Chinwendu Iwunze.
Her smile is beaming with affection, so endearing and easily rubs off on you as she grins from ear to ear.
Rosemary, the only daughter of Mr/Mrs Anthony and Elizabeth Iwunze’s family, said the day is a happy one for her as she enjoys the love and care of both family and friends.
“I am super excited. I am very happy for people celebrating with me – my family, friends, especially my roommate, Treasure; my brothers, all my brothers are wonderful; my photographer and makeup artist; my lodge mates; my course mates; my friends and a sister, Helen Simon. She is so wonderful.
“All those that celebrated with me, I pray that celebration will never cease in all areas of your life; celebration will never cease in your family. You will celebrate more. God bless you. I really appreciate you all,” she said.
Johnson Iwunze, an elder brother to the celebrant was full of encomiums for her.
“My sister is a very wonderful girl, she is very nice. In fact, she is the love of my life. She can be stubborn but even at that, she is loyal and disciplined. She is humble too and respectful.
“I am so happy to celebrate with her today that she is marking her birthday. I wish her good luck, I wish her more years on earth, long life and prosperity, especially, God’s blessings upon her life. Whatever she desires in this life, I pray that God will grant it unto her. She is my best friend, I love her so much and I wish her a happy birthday,” Johnson said.
